Fine Art Friday with Blog Hop – week 102

Winter has returned to some parts of the US. Or maybe it never left. I for one had hoped that we had seen the last of it until the end of this year. And actually in that sense I cannot really complain, because all we got was a little snow shower today. Very wet and with the warm ground, it did not stick. But some other parts… oh my… It is winter wonderland again. Or as a friend said ‘for the first time in years we got snow – yippie!’. Well, maybe I should move again, because as you all know: I l o v e  summer!

But in honor of the very trying winter this year, I thought I would post one of my few winter photos today for Fine Art Friday. I can hardly believe that it has only been a month since we had this kind of snow here. I want spring!! Or better yet, summer!!

If you like to see more fine art Friday photos hop over to my fellow photographer Angie’s blog (Laughter and Love Photography) last Friday. She is currently showcasing 15 to 20 different fine art photos, all from members of our fPOE team.

  1. Gorgeous picture!!! I captured a similar one in the summer of a fluffy cat-tail with an old barn in the background. total fluke picture since I am no photographer at all. LOL

I used to love choosing new recipes and trying them out. But now my kids just won’t leave me alone in the kitchen. Or I get interrupted like 500 times by their bickering, tattling, etc. etc. I just want to have my glass of wine, my music and cook a darn meal!! go play with the million dollars worth of toys you begged me to buy you! Ugh.

    • Hahaha – you’re so funny, Leslie! I can imagine that cooking with kids is… challenging at times. Here’s to a good glass of wine – afterwards?
