It is a gift to be
with friends and family – any time.
It is a gift to have
time – to spend as you like.
I love both gifts and am
lucky to have received both – partially.
There may be a few changes around here. I may or may not participate in bloghops quite as frequently as I did and love to. But I really want to re-focus on my art. And as such, I have delved again into compositing. In this case fine art grunge compositing.

- When I watch a film/tv I do just that, no iPad, no internet, no magazine on the side.
- A well made (photo) image is fine art.
- Salad & chicken is my go to dinner
- I must have hot water in the shower
Why don’t you join me along my journey and follow me on , and if you prefer and see what I come up with next. You can, of course, also subscribe by email – (click) here or you may follow my blog with Bloglovin or my preferred reader Feedly.
Claudia, that picture is beautiful! A fantasy fairy tale feel with a slightly darker edge. Love it!
I had a feeling you might like it, Debbi 🙂 Thank you.
I love salad & chicken for dinner!
So do we. A lot.
Salad and chicken are my favorites too. Easy and good.
You are good about the movie…I always have a book and/or my phone with me even when I am watching TV.
ENJOY your weekend.

Exactly – easy, good, healthy and fast, which is a big bonus.
TV, depending on what and why I was watching I could maybe see myself having my phone there, but then again, we don’t have a tv and I don’t watch any shows.
Hope you’re having a great weekend, too.
I do laundry while watching tv or a movie and I love Chicken and salad too!
Here is to a great new year!
I guess it really depends on your priority. In your case I would guess it is laundry and tv to make that chore a little bit more ‘interesting’. So, that is o.k.
That’s a beautiful photograph, something I would totally frame and hang in my home. Can’t wait to see more of your art. It’s such an inspiration to me, truly!!! I definitely want to incorporate photography more into my daily life in 2015.
We should do a special photography link up once a week! 🙂
Thank you so much, Susi. I had intended to work on some more today, however, our cable modem broke so I had to drive a ways to get a new one. Now I’m back home and most of the day is gone 🙁 It is what you call life, huh?!
I had thought about doing a link up before, which is why I subscribed to inlinkz (because I definitely want to have thumbnails with one). But I have never gotten around to finding a good set up. Maybe we can brainstorm about the idea. By email?
Sounds like a plan! And yes, that’s definitely life. Hope you got the modem workimg again!
Oh yes, the modem sure works, we already had a technician from Cablecom set up to come in – today, just in case. Because no internet is close to disaster. We have got enough books, games, films etc. to last a while, but it is aggravating (especially if you play online games – LOL)
I’ve never heard of it, but it sounds awesome. And that picture is beautiful.
I think salad and chicken is a fine dinner! Greens and lean meats!
You have never heard of ‘it’ being ‘grunge compositing’? Really? Hmm, well, it is not really a staple to portrait photography. If at all then a niche, but I really like it. And I just love to draw and paint – with photos and photoshop. Hence the compositing. I think this is the route I’ll be going.
Greens and lean meats – exactly! Or something fishy 🙂
Oh I love it!!! The grunge look is so very cool. I understand about stepping back — I think there will be some changes in the New Year for me too. More writing – but also continuing to learn photography too.
I always seem to be multi-tasking. I am catching up on holiday blog reading, but I also have the movie Thor on. I have seen it a dozen times already though. If it was a movie I had not seen yet, I would concentrate on that.
I’m happy to hear that you like this style, Leslie. You sound like me – multitasking, yep, that’s me, too. Yeah, when you’ve seen a film for the gazillionst time, you’re forgiven to be sidetracked by something else 😉
