Time for another photo from San Antonio, TX and another one of my HDR photos. Going to San Antonio everybody told me that I just had to go on a Mission tour. So, I looked it up and there are four missions within or really close to San Antonio and I visited a couple and took a lot of photos. I am sure I will show you some more later. But for now – this is Mission San Jose. Those ruined archways really reminded me of good ol’ Europe… Oh and by the way, if you are thinking that the colors, especially of the stone, are too saturated, popping and a result of exaggerated HDR work, then you are wrong. The colors down there were really outstanding and bright!

And here is from Hilary’s blog:
Each week, I plan on listing four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to me . If I use them, I will add you as co-host to the hop! This week’s co-host is Rachael from Print and Stitch – she came up with the last two statements!
I would LOVE it if you could please help me spread the word about this hop…. So, please tweet, FaceBook share, and add the linky to your post…
This week’s statements:
1) I hate when I just doddle along and get hung up on some internet site – very unproductive!
2) I sometimes long for rain (but only after a very, very long stretch of sun).
3) Thinking about my dad always makes me sad, happy and think about our vacation at the ocean.
4) My favorite day of this week so far was Thursday because I picked up a new bike 😉

Enjoy the new bike!
I intend to! Definitely going to go on a little mtb trip today in this beautiful weather.
They look almost like oil paintings! I have been to a few places in Texas and you are right. The colors are vivid and bright. Congrats on the new bike!
Thanks, Debbi. Yes, those colors are very amazing down there. Must be the harsh, bright sun light.
Saw the new bike on IG – love it. Hope you get lots of enjoyment out of it. The pictures are awesome. I love how the sky peeks through but the focus is on the arches. I can also relate to your #1 – just last night I got stuck reading a new to me blog . I just kept reading and reading, which I guess is a good thing means the blog is well-written!!! 🙂
I hope so, too, Susi. The mission is a really nice place. Yeah, it is nice to find a blog like that, but… time…
I so know what you mean about getting hung up on a website and being very unproductive. It happens to me all the time. Have a great weekend!
I know, right?! Sometimes it’s a good thing, but other times… not so much.
amazing colours!! love those pictures……it’s like those arches could tell some great stories of all those who have passed beneath. beautiful.
I got a new bike this summer too. It’s come in really handy when we’ve been camping, to ride around the parks. Hope you enjoy yours.
Great job on this! You made something that is usually pretty confusing very simple and easy to understand. I LOVE your tutorials!
