Spring is here and… (I feel like change)

Welcome to the weekend on my blog

Good morning and welcome to spring! Yes, it is officially spring, not that it looks much like it around here. There is still that white stuff and it is freakin’ cold.

But – I feel like change.

And that seems to be always a sign of – hmm – my inner spring, I guess.

Over the past couple of years or so this website, my blog and I morphed from purely photography to photo art to illustrations and paintings.

I am feeling all torn.

And surely you are seeing it to. This website is very much all over the place. Like me. And the thing is, in me, I like it. I like that I am doing all these things, because I like creating and love art. It will definitely stay part of me, being me. But I think I may be splitting up at least some of the content. Right now I am trying out a new website and Instagram account solely for coloring and my  illustration. You may hop over to Adult Coloring Page and see if you like it, although I am not sure that is going to be the ultimate one as I don’t want the subject to be that limited.

It will be a work in progress.

And that means that I will not be posting here that much, meaning less emails for you and also less participation in weekly memes. I may totally come back to it or I may continue this website solely based on photography and photo art. I don’t know yet, but I thought now is as good a time as any to let you know of further changes.

For today I will be joining the McGuffy’s Reader and  15andmeowing.com one more time in their Friday Friendly Fill ins. I hope you’ll enjoy.

  1. In the Spring, I look forward to much warmer weather and blooms, lots of gorgeous blooms.
  2. I would love to have fun party. (Bet you didn’t see that one coming 🙂 – I don’t care about the kind of party as long as it is fun)
  3. Few know this about me, but – is there anything I haven’t told you yet?
  4. No one cooks like my mom! (I bet everyone says that and that is wonderful)

I value you all very much, so if you have any ideas or feedback you may leave it in the comments below or you may also contact me via the form on the website, although most of you also got my direct email (imagesbycw at gmail dot com).Cheers,

claudia3

  3. Whatever you decide to do, you will do well – simply because you’re you! 🙂

Hopefully spring will finally arrive in your neck of the woods soon so you can enjoy warmer weather and beautiful blooms! 😉

A fun party is the only kind of party to have!

LOVE your shoe drawing, and mega LOVE the harbor image! 🙂 Have a great weekend!

  4. I like your shoe picture very much and absolutely love your boat photo, just beautiful. 🙂

I think you do what feels right to you about your blog content. If the way you’ve been doing it makes you happy inside, keep doing it. If it doesn’t, then change is definitely in order. My PS Annie! blog is morphing, too. It started out to be a genealogy blog, but now it has more book/product reviews than anything. It just sort of happened and I don’t have a clue how. I created a PS Annie! #2 to house solely genealogy posts and am letting the original one just run with it in regards to the reviews, memes, etc. We’ll see where that goes. Whatever works for you is what is right for you.

Visually, I think spring is the absolute best season here in this part of Texas. There are wildflowers everywhere!

    Have a blessed weekend. 🙂

  5. Love the shoe and your photo. I won’t be able to see you instagram because I don’t use my phone for other than talking and instagram doesn’t allow PC users to join in. How stupid is that? Anyway good luck with the new site.

  6. Claudia, I understand where you’re coming from because my blog is a bit all over the place, too. I’m gonna keep everything together there for now. I don’t know if I’ll bust things up, though. I’m going to visit your coloring site in just a second. Are you participating in the A2Z challenge next month? I’m doing art sketching through the alphabet and it’s bloggers like you who inspired me to put action to my dreams, so we’ll see how that goes over. 🙂 Have a good weekend, my friend.

  7. Great shoe…I am on a painting shoes kick lately but haven’t shown them yet…I have half a book full so far! I love your new website…it’s much easier to navigate!! I rarely colour any more but my daughter has adult colouring books…it’s totally the rage the last few years! I think it’s pretty hard for a creative to nail down one particular area when the spectrum is open to so many wonderful creative things to enjoy! I hope you give yourself the freedom to express all avenues on your new blog!

    • Thanks for your kind words and comments, Happytiler. The comments are open on my new blog, there are some on there, could it be you tried to comment on a page instead of a post? Then you are right, comments on pages are closed. Thanks again.

  8. Oh I need those shoes to be real!!! Gorgeous – just imagine. Get on my feet! I love that this website reflects YOU – in whatever state you are currently Arting. But, I also love seeing people grow their art and their talents, so I think any changes that allow space for that?? IS AWESOME. Ya just gotta keep doing you, right? These past few months have been the busiest for me and it’s been hard keeping up — not so much arting to be done. But also, that’s kinda winter’s curse too. Spring is renewal! And I am always looking forward to sunnier days and more photo ops.

  9. What a beautiful accent to the shoe and I love the photo. It’s difficult to decide what to do when interests are diverse, I think it’s okay if we jump around a bit, but I’m sure that whatever you decide will be great!
