Welcome to the weekend. Welcome to my iPhone painting – Saturday link up s~A(R)T~urday!
“If I could say it in words there would be no reason to paint.” Edward Hopper
Good morning to you! Almost certainly you saw that I called today’s post iPhone painting. But just because I do and I post a lot of iPhone photos, because frankly I love taking and editing photos on it, it does not mean that you are required to so, too, in order to link up. Let me re-iterate now that we are a few weeks into my s~A(R)T~turday linkup.
This linkup is for any kind of art you created.
Be it photography with your film camera, your DSLR, your iPhone, android phone, windows phone, blackberry phone. It may be edited beyond recognition or it may be straight out of the camera. I also welcome you to link other art projects or even projects in the works. Like mixed media, paintings, poetry, fiction. Really anything goes, as long as you can put it on the internet. Yes, no website required either e.g. flickr will do fine as well.
Now that I have clarified that, I wanted to thank you for all your lovely words and inquiries last week about my foot. I really, really appreciate you, your concern – my virtual community.Thank you for being part of my life. As for the foot – I may be down sometimes about the very fact and that it is not nearly healing fast enough for my taste, but it is so much better. Seriously, so much better that I don’t remember any day last week that I actually limped. You know, usually by the end of the day it started bothering me, so I took some weight off. For the most part, last week I didn’t. I’d say that is improvement right there.
Create-with-Joy entered the previous at s~A(R)T~urday last. Ramona may be best known on the interwebs for her huge linkups every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. But don’t be fooled, Ramona is an artist. She creates the most intricate and beautiful mixed media cards. Like she did in last week’s entry here. She also has a regular Friday post called Book Nook, in which she reviews books of all kinds. Ramona was also among my first supporters of s~A(R)T~urday – thank you so much. And let’s not forget, if you need a ‘cat fix’? She has got the most adorable two cats ever (well, almost ever :)), Maine Coons Tsunami and Magellan. Please hop on over to Create-with-Joy and say ‘hello’ from me.
And now, as the title says, another iPhone creation from me this week for my link up. I created this one from a photo I took in Kittattinny Valley State Park and then painted over it with the app PhotoViva and then I mixed them, layered them right on the iPhone in my new favorite all around editing app Enlight. Here are the versions in reversed order, the top one being the final piece.
*** Here is where I link up today. ***

I like irises. Our neighbor long ago had a bunch of these on his front bank and they smelled so beautiful in the spring, but since that time the home has changed hands a few times and the flowers were uprooted. I sure do miss the fragrance that filled the air. Have a songsational day!
I didn’t even know that irises smell, let alone nicely. Maybe you should plant some 🙂 Have a great week!
these are just beautiful!!! They would look so good in my recently redone bathroom. 🙂
I really have to take the time and start printing off some of my own photography to use in my house.
I have company again this week, so I won’t likely have time for the link up. And sadly, my head space was a little full or WORDS this week. and not so much on creating images. I took a lot of pictures – because ZEN!! but I didn’t get a chance to do any edits. But my computer files are FULL to busting, so the future looks promising. LOL
So glad to hear about foot progress!!! Yay.
Yes, you should definitely print some of your work. Let me tell you it is the best feeling!
Hah – I read your words – they definitely need to get out of your head 🙂 Take your time. What ever feels right to you will work.
Claudia, these are incredible! Irises are gorgeous, and they are one of my favorite flowers. When we get into the new house, I want to plant a bunch of them. My grandmother had a ton of them, and before her house was sold, we dug some up, which are now blooming at my best friend’s house. I’m looking forward to bringing them home to our place.
Thank you for joining Photo Friday again this week!
I bet your house will be surrounded by beautiful flowers. When will you be moving in?
thanks for clarifieing. And for your lovely fkowers 🙂
You are very welcome, Monica. Thanks for supporting my meme.
Claudia, thank you for the feature – what an amazing and unexpected honor this is! I appreciate your friendship and am happy to lend my support in all of you do..
I’m happy to hear that your foot is continuing to heal and that you are starting to move around without limping! 🙂
Your irises are SO lovely . I keep telling myself to go outside and take some pictures but right now my allergies are so bad I can barely open my eyes!
Have an inspired week!
You are so very welcome, Ramona. Your blog supports creativity and so do I – it works 🙂
I am sorry to hear that you have such bad allergies. Good thing you are not allergic to cat hair (keeping fingers crossed)
P.S. I am also sharing a book that I think your creative community will enjoy! 🙂
I saw it on your blog and still need to check it out.

That is very true, Carol, it is nature’s beauty
Himmlisch und malerisch!
Meine Iris im Garten blüht diesjahr zum ersten Mal nach vielen Jahren nur immer Blättern… (und warum hab ich sie noch nicht fotografiert? 😉 )
Weiterhin gute Besserung und einen schönen sonntag
Mascha
Vielen lieben Dank, Mascha.
Na, das ist aber ein freudiges Ereignis, nach Jahren mal wieder ein Blüte. In der Tat, da solltest Du aber schnell fotografieren, wer weiss wie lange sie hält.
Ich hoffe, Du hast eine schöne Woche!
Beautiful photos and editing
Thank you very much!

Lovely lovely work. My entry is not at par with the this one and the others but I will try my best to improve.
Merlinda, of course, your entry is wonderful! Don’t let anyone tell you anything different. I hope you will link up every Saturday with something gorgeous like this.
