A grungy sunrise photo – edited with textures in Photoshop

Welcome to Friday on my blog

Yes, it is finally Friday and time for a photo. It will be exactly one photo, because that is the only one that I took this week. Can you believe that? Only one photo? Naturally I took this photo of the week with my iPhone

And the next unbelievable thing is that every time that I opened it to edit on my phone – I shut down the phone again. I did not feel it. I could not edit the photo. I stared at it and couldn’t do it. So, I am giving it another try this morning, on my computer. You will see the outcome below.

I will also be joining the McGuffy’s Reader and  15andmeowing.com Friday Friendly Fill ins. I hope you’ll enjoy.

  1. I have seen lots of people, weird people and a ton of traffic on Broadway. But not a single play.
  2. My Chinese Zodiac sign is snake.
  3. Celebrities are overrated, when it comes down to it, they are people like you and I.
  4. A (tiny) piece or part of art a day keeps the blues away.

Cheers,

claudia3

If I have time I will be linking with one or more of the fine people in this collection – check them out!

  1. I like the gunged effect. I actually took a photo the other day of our sunrise. It was red like this but I was trying to get the angle with trees and going up the hill. It did not work at all.

  2. Claudia, I agree art, creativity keeps the moody blues away! You know when I read your fill-ins last week earlier in the week you mentioned artwork makes you feel young and that really clicked with me. That’s precisely how it makes me feel. This week I did hand drawings of the V-Day cards I will send to our children. I hope to share my simple, easy-to-do designs in a post soon. 🙂 Good answers to this week’s fill-ins! Have a gr8 weekend!

  4. Your wisdom in #4 is so You and so True! Celebrities make me disgusted with their arrogance. We made them who they are, and they think it makes them heroes. Heroes are the countless selfless unsung who actually help us! Celebrities live in a bubble that we paid for. They shuld stick to entertaining us, and let us think for ourselves. HUGS!

  5. Beautiful colours!! I did not take a single photo this week at all. Or edit. Or do much except go from my bed to the couch – ugh. I don’t know what this thing is, but I am just soooo tired. Like zero energy, even though I don’t really feel physically sick (aside from it starting out as a cold, but that appears done). Weird. Today started a bit better so hopefully it’s on the reverse now. But goodness — I could sleep forever.
