Wave Surf Photography

Wave

Did somebody say ‘wave’ out loud?

A beauty of a wave – breaking

Wave

Turning into a perfectly rounded tube

Wave

Twisting in a circle of spray

wave surf photography – taken on OBX

surfer, wave

Hiding, speeding inside a perfect tube

surfer, tube, wave

Coming down a wave in anticipation

Surfer catching the wave

One more twist and turn before

Surfer catching the wave

exiting, chased by another beautiful wave

Surfer catching the wave

jumping high, board reflecting, setting sun

Surfer: Twist & Turn

And then – there is always this:

Wave & Clouds

Magnificent wave power reaching the clouds

  4. Did you ever miss a flight?

Why don’t you join us? Or you can follow me on facebookgoogle+ and twitterif you prefer and see what I come up with next. You can, of course, also subscribe by email – (click) here.

  1. I am like you now when I fly. I want to get THERE wherever there is. Never missed a flight though but have almost by literally seconds to go.

Those pictures are great. I love the one with the surfer inside the wave.

Have fun in Germany and hoist a beer for me. Prosit!

    • Flying or commercial flying serves a purpose and it serves that purpose pretty well. But that’s it. I’ve never missed a plane either, but came close, too.
      Yeah, those surfers… in a wave… amazing

    • Oh yeah, airports… There was a time when I thought they were fascinating with all the different people from all corners of the world. And that part is still interesting to see, however, the waiting and the security etc. etc. everywhere the same shops – it’s a drag.

  2. These are stunning photos! And my brother is a surfer – lives on Maui – so I never get to see him…this gave me a taste of his happy place! Thanks so so much for joining me in Six Words!

    • I am really happy that you like and enjoy the photos, Les. It really is one of my happiest places to be. And I cannot surf (in or on waves) either, but just watching is fun.
I completely missed out on blogging and commenting while away, but at least we stayed up to date via fb.

    • Hi Susi, as you know – back now and the trip was pretty good. Lots of work and some pleasure, however no photo trip in Berlin, again 🙁
Thanks, I like the layout, but it just does not work 100 % (just look at the sharing buttons…)
