A beach day @ the Outer Banks

Leslie’s question today is: What does your name mean? If you use an alias tell why you are using that particular moniker. Well, not much to tell here. I usually use either my real name, well, the one after I got married or I use my business name: ImagesByCW, which is also pretty much self explanatory. Images – made by me, Claudia Willison. And that’s it. I know – boring, no funky alias.

And Kathy’s You’ll-shoot-your-eyes-out Song-ography song this week is “Perfect Day” by Lou Reed. It does not ring a bell, this song. I think I need to hear it, maybe then it’ll hit me. But the lyrics – perfect!

What is a beach day? ‘Just a perfect day’!

We had a lot of perfect days during our vacation at the Outer Banks.

Starting with one or the other of those wonderful sunrises over the ocean.

Then on to catching waves and water, one way or the other.

Or simply enjoy the beach and sand and sun.Some of us tan a little more than others in the same time period.

And finishing off with the sun setting behind the lighthouse, while the moon rises red over the ocean.

Followed by a clear starry night.

Perfection.
