Day #23 of AEDM and NaBloPoMo – and I am going to take it easy on blogging today, just a very few words.
I got up very early today, 5:20 am, but instead of browsing the internet or starting this post, I continued where I had left of last night. Sketching.
There is a site called Sketch Daily where you enter a few parameters e.g. female, cloth or not etc. and then you are presented with photos of models in a multitude of poses. There is also a timer and you may set it from 30 seconds to 10 minutes. Being that I am only starting out at ‘sort of’ life sketching, I set it to 10 minutes. But, of course, you may pause or skip or fast forward. It is a great tool to improve your skills. Although it can be very frustrating, too. Like, when you give it your best shot, but then 10 minutes are over and your sketch looks like crap. Oh well, as I said – improve your skills. That is exactly what I aim to be doing, especially on this long weekend ahead of us.Cheers,
