Fairy girl drawing on my iPad Pro – a work in progress

Welcome to Friday on my blog

Having a day or two off and spending the morning reading and commenting on blogposts, got me inspired to post on my own blog today as well.

As some of you know I spent the holidays with family in San Francisco, which meant two long flights. The first one was pretty bad with a long delay and lots of turbulence and a cabin that was either too cold or too hot and constantly alternating between the two. Needless to say I didn’t get anything done.

However on the flight back on Tuesday, I drew the whole time on my iPad Pro in Procreate. Somehow I did not feel like reading or watching a movie. And I also only listened to music a little. But still, somehow time just flew by (no pun intended) and thus, despite a few minor turbulences, it was a pretty good flight.

The below obviously is a work in progress, but it seems to me like this little girl or fairy, the picture has got a story to tell. And I hope to be telling it at some point.

For now I’ll just keep drawing, inking and coloring away. Next will be a bit of ink or maybe some more background.I also wanted to take part in Friday’s Friendly Fill ins hosted by Ellen of 15andmeowing and by McGuffy of McGuffy’s Reader. And today’s or tomorrow’s, depending on when you read this post, the prompts are:

  1. The highlight of my Christmas was being in San Francisco visiting family, enjoying the company, good food, wine and wine country
  2. My New Year’s resolution is none. I have never been a friend of New Year’s resolutions. I prefer to believe that if you want to change something, you should do it when ever you want to, not because it is a new year.
  3. This year, 2016, was not boring. I am back windsurfing after last year’s hiccup, we became a one-income-household and we lived through a tropical storm / almost hurricane at the beach.
  4. Next year, 2017, it will be interesting to see if it will be a little more boring than 2016…

And that’s a wrap!

Oh, since at least some of you seem to like the timelapse videos of my drawings, I will also be sharing that at the bottom. But it is fairly long this time, remember the flight was quite long, too.Cheers,

If I have time I will be linking with one or more of the fine people in this collection – check them out!
