Along the lines of Dark and Light

Adrienne’s Six Word Friday

Along the lines of shadows – move!

Like waves, they seem to – move.

Moving – ’til soon they will unite.

Moving – along the dark and light.

Lines of Dark and Light

And now for the Friday Four Fill ins ~ here is from Hilary’s blog:

Okay, you know the deal – Each week, I list four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to me. If I use them, I will add you as co-host to the hop! Hilary really needs statements, which is why she has no co-host today. This week’s statements:

feelingbeachiebutton 200x200

1) I drink strong, black coffee in the AM

2) I read too little lately, I wish there were more hours in the day

3) Sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever settle down, for good, but then I think, oh well, que sera sera

4) Given the choice between summer and winter I’d pick summer. o.k. that was too easy. Choose between: Summer and spring – what would you take?

  1. Hi Claudia,
Were those pictures taken in the desert southwest? Reminds me of rock formations in Arizona to Utah.
Your poem delighted me -I especially like the title. Happy weekend -hope the weather clears! Have something fun planned?

    • Hi Maureen, actually – no. I know they reminded me of the desert photos I have seen. However they were snow drifts from this year’s loooong winter 😉
p.s. the weather is just beautiful now, but no fun-fun activities this weekend, but next!

  2. Beautiful photos! Love your list – and between the two- I’d probably still go with summer. I do love spring but summer is when things actually do slow down and I enjoy that very much.

  3. Gorgeous.
I think I’d choose spring over summer – it’s easier to take. And I do love summer but I love even more knowing that we still have it, when spring is still new. I love anticipating.

    • Aaaah, an interesting thought about anticipation, Tamara. So, that means that in summer you are probably anticipating a wonderful fall, and in winter time in front of a fire etc., right? Anticipating the good things – I like that, I like positive thoughts.

  4. Down here I would most definitely pick Spring. Summer brings too much heat and humidity and oh yeah, hurricane season. But Spring, oh Spring is glorious down here.
Love the shots. Please tell me I’m right and that’s sand up close???

    • Right, Susi, I understand. It really depends a lot, among other things of course, on the place where you live. Hurricane season – uh oh, I don’t know if I could stand that. Although, it should make for some gorgeous clouds! LOL – there are always two sides to a coin 😉
Oh, and, sorry, but no, it is not sand. It is snow. Snowdrifts from last winter.

  5. always summer. always.
especially after the winter we had this year!
Love that picture — is it sand? I can see a bit of glistening/sparkle. very neat.
