Beautiful magnolia, in bloom, almost gone
I adore, yet almost missed them
Until next year, remembering their beauty

  1. I love magnolia, but it seems like just as I realize they are blooming, the petals are already dropping. Falling blossom makes me happy (nature’s confetti) and sad (the flowers are dying). Until next year, absolutely.

  2. I love the scent of Magnolias. In the South, we cut them and float them water filled bowls. The scent will fill the room! And I agree with statement #4. Of course for me you have to change the venue from nature to…. well you know! 🙂

  3. I am blasting music right now — some Maroon 5 – because Adam Levine, of course.
I take advantage of no one being in the house and let the tunes reign down on me. otherwise it’s Frozen and Disney All The Hours. 🙂

I’m still a night owl, but I have to get up early to get the kids off to school. but some days (today), I can go back to bed for a little nap. But I try to keep it to an hour or so…. not all day. Too many photographs waiting to be captured. LOVE the magnolias — so wish I could grow them here.

  4. Hi Claudia,
Oh, I miss magnolias, and mimosas, and lilacs. All dear and familiar scents of childhood, and hardly ever seen where I live now. Oh well! At least I can breath in Miss Josephine’s warm, musky little cat scent any time I want!

    • Really, there are none around there? How strange. Then again, I miss lilacs, haven’t seen very many here (in previous years) and I love the scent of those! Of course, it cannot compare to your little one’s scent 😉
