Last week I spent a few days in San Antonio. It was my very first time in Texas. Unfortunately I didn’t have too much time to take photos, because it was a business trip. But I did stay downtown and had to do a lot of driving around. Which meant – stopping here and there to take photo or two. I will show you more in the next few weeks. I hadn’t taken many HDR sequences lately, but the pretty harsh contrasts during my visit there during day or night, lent themselves to utilizing this technique. For now, here is a Night HDR of the Tower Life Building in San Antonio.

And here is from Hilary’s blog:
Each week, I plan on listing four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to me . If I use them, I will add you as co-host to the hop! This week’s co-host is Donella from My Constant Thought – she came up with the last two statements!
I would LOVE it if you could please help me spread the word about this hop…. So, please tweet, FaceBook share, and add the linky to your post…
This week’s statements:
1. I don’t have a lot of time for photography these days (hmm, seems like I’m repeating myself here – got to do something about it!).
2. When it is a sunny, warm day I hate it when I have to do work inside.
3. When I was little, my dream job was interior architect/designer.
4. I could write a book about photography – naturally!

Hopping from Hilary’s Friday Fill-in fun! Cool pics! And, of course, you would write a book about photography and maybe you should get started. 🙂
Yeah – maybe I should and it certainly is fun to make a photo book, but time…
Hope you find tine to concentrate on your photography soon : ) Take care x
That makes two of us, Rachael – thank you!
Wonderful pictures as usual. Haven’t been to Texas except the airport in Dallas. On my bucket list!
Thanks, Judy. Well, I definitely want to go back to Texas. It was only a couple of days, but I loved them.
I ditto your number two!~
Well, the sunny, warm weather is back and it is… weekend!!
Oh my….I would totally buy a book of your photography!!! You should definitely do it.
We have a beautiful day here and I had planned a beach trip this afternoon — but now my son has gone to a neighbour’s house, which means I cannot leave for the beach with my daughters: just in case he had to come home or something, no one would be here. guess it’s the backyard plastic pool today!
Really?! You would buy the book? Thanks! Uh oh – hate it when things don’t play out as planned. Then again, I like improvising, too. I am sure you’re experienced in that one as well 🙂
That’s a great shot. Love the perspective… I don’t have a lot of time for many things it seems but photography is definitely suffering the most which makes me sad. 🙁
Du hast den Nagel auf den Kopf getroffen, Susi! Sad it is – I want to be creative, but cannot… I do hope you will get to develop your photography skills further!
