My first part of iPhone photo tips is now live – here!

Check out the second part of my iPhone photo tips – here!

And don’t forget to check back on Saturday for my brand new *(almost) anything goes* art link up: s~A(R)T~urday

p.s. You are seeing a gallery of my Instagram photos, because in the near future I intend to always post my Instagram feed from the previous week. To do so I am cleaning out the older pictures I have not published on my site yet. This will probably take me a few weeks. Until then, instead of one or two photos you will see galleries with a common (or not so common) theme like this one.

  1. oh yes – the purple sky one is perfection!!!
and the purple lights on the house too. I still have yet to even try any night time shots, aside from a few super moon ones last summer.
I do have a tripod now though, so perhaps this summer I should take more “after bed” shots 😉

    • When you try, do it with your DSLR, not the iPhone like I took these shots here. Dial the ISO to 50 or 100 and if your lens has a stabilizer (anti vibration or something) remember to shut it off when using a tripod 🙂

  2. I love the night shots, especially the one in upper left corner of the lighted building. Is this one in NYC? If so, which one? I also, like the artsy feel of the lower left corner photo of the tree branches against the evening sky and finally the upper right corner photo of the fountain in the foreground of the row of lighted buildings ~ nicely done. Thanks for sharing & hosting the #WW fun! 😉

    • Hi Cathy, that one is my all time favorite highriser: The Chrysler Building in NYC. Hehehe – the tree branches were a snapshot in the Target parking lot – LOL. The one with the fountain is Vail Mansion in Morristown, NJ and old villa made into apartments and since late last year also a fantastic restaurant/bar on the first floor and basement.
