Time for a to die for NYC sunset

~ NYC sunset ~

This is one of the shots of the sunset last week that I took with my DSLR and edited in Lightroom. For a panorama shot of the same sunset with my iPhone click to my previous post.

I hope that over time we will be building a community dedicated to art and creating. I rather like these words said by Andy Warhol:

Don’t think about making art, just get it done.

Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it.

While they are deciding, make even more art.”

Why don’t you join me along my journey and follow me on fbgo and tw if you prefer and see what I come up with next. You may, of course, also [et_bloom_inline optin_id=”optin_3″]

Drop me a comment and you’ll make me smile!

  1. Claudia, ahh, I love the swirly sunburst clouds against that gorgeous rich blue sky! This photo is truly breath catching and that’s not because of the walk to the top, either. lol Thanks for visiting and linking up, my friend. Have a fototastic week!

  2. Sooooo pretty. I like that red lettering on that one building. I am terrified of heights so the top of the Empire State Building is not a place I think I will ever find myself. 🙂

      • I hope things improve. Sounds like we both are stuck in the winter blah mode! I definitely need to carve out some creative time for myself very soon. Everything I do these days is for others and I know a person can’t keep that up for long.

        • Total blah mode. It is Monday morning and while it is always a bit of a struggle that day, today is worse. I am pretty much dreading to get dressed and go to work. I have had that feeling before. And I don’t like it at all. I like my work, but… sigh… it will get better again. Staying positive is the key!

  4. Awesome photo. My sister lives in NYC but I’ve never had the good fortune to see a sunset like that when visiting her. #MySUndayPhoto
