For this month’s Photo Art Friday
I present thee – a ‘quirkie selfie’
And for Adrienne’s Six Words Friday:
Color or monochrome – a constant struggle

And now for the Friday Four Fill ins ~ here is from Hilary’s blog:
Okay, you know the deal – Each week, I list four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to me . If I use them, I will add you as co-host to the hop! This week’s co-host is Carol from Battered Hope! I REALLY NEED STATEMENTS!
This week’s statements:
1) Having been busy at work, of course helps making the days go by really fast and then it is Friday again and the weekend is here!
2) I cannot wait for the weather to finally get warmer, so I can do more fun stuff outside again
3) The first thing I do in the AM is start my coffee machine (after using the bathroom, of course)
4) Tomorrow morning I am going to do just that, and then go to work

Oh I like this. The reflection in your eye is wonderful. I also like the BW in the lower right corner. Nicely done.
Thank you so much, Ida!
Oh same as Ida! I really like this and yes I noticed the beautiful reflection in your eye. And… for PAF which I have forgotten about!
Thanks, Miriam. Not really sure I like the reflection that much myself, but if it works for you… 🙂
Very creative photos!
I try to be creative, Yogi. Thank you.
I like the larger colour shot myself.
I am happy you like it. Thank you.
Now those selfies are so current and so professional! Bravo. Love the middle one in the column and the reflections in your eye in the main one.
Thanks, Bonnie. You know, the middle one on the right is the one that keeps on growing on me every time I look at the collage (except for the huge ear – LOL)
Love your pictures as usual. Turning on the coffee is tops in the morning.
Having my coffee right now, Judy – cannot work without it, right?!
your color photo is beautiful- love your soft coloured eye and the texture overlay. Fabulous.
Thank you very much, Marsha. It is sometimes such fun to play with overlays.
Loving the textures in these. Its fun to play with these kinds of things!
You took the words right out of my mouth, Debbi (my comment reply above yours :))
These are amazing and you are beautiful. I can’t even imagine how you were able to do them, but they are all wonderful.
Andrea @ From The Sol
You are too kind, Andrea. I am anything but beautiful, well, in the common understanding of ‘beautiful’ that is. But with showing only partial me and a little editing, I am able t bring out features that I do love – like my eyes 🙂
p.s. btw – the photos themselves were all taken with my iPhone
what a beautiful selfie. isn’t it great that with a turn of the head we can strike a different feel to our photo. beautiful work. have a great day~
Absolutely. Always try a different angle, you might be surprised of the result.
Definitely a contender for my vote this month. Really love the large shot on the left and the bottom right side shot carry’s a lot of emotion. Well done!
Thank you very much, Andrea, appreciate the compliment
That is possibly the best “selfie” I have seen! Truly beautiful!
Hahaha – yep, selfies are not everybody’s thing, definitely not mine either. But every once in a while… you got to try something, right?
Amazing editing! Visiting from Six Word Fridays.
Editing is a big part of the fun these days with photos. Not always, but sometimes.
the monochrome ones are really cool. I really like the style. But, how you captured your eye: fantastic. (and nice blues by the way!)
Pee and coffee.
you can’t get a better start! 🙂
and soon, I’ll be able to have that coffee on my deck!
Thanks, Les. Check your Photoshop Elements under filters and you might find some of it. Yep, I had my blue-eye day, depending on… whatever, they are sometimes green or gray 🙂
Yes, I too like the color image, and love the reflection in your eye!
Thanks, Kim. I am almost thinking of making a series out of eyes
it’s got to get warm soon, right?
Any day now, I hope. But right now it is still a little cold outside for my taste
ooohhhh these are so interesting and artful!! I almost always prefer color!! Have a wonderful Sunday!!
Thank you so much, Debbie. I am torn a lot of times between color and monochrome – as you can tell.
love what you have done here!! it’s brilliant!!
Thank you so much, Currie. Not sure about ‘brilliant’, but it sure was fun.
These are good.
Thank you so much, anki-itte
