Windsurfing Bonaire

A
s chilly as my last post for Sisterhood Stories was, this one is warm. It is coming from the sunny, windy Caribbean paradise of Bonaire. Mostly known in the US among divers, but also great for windsurfing and snorkeling. And we are doing the snorkeling and windsurfing Bonarie parts. I had intended to post some more photos and maybe a snorkeling video, but unfortunately our internet connection is a little patchy. So, instead only the one photo I had previously uploaded to YouTube about my ‘little’ crash ๐Ÿ˜‰

And this is a little photo collage of one of David’s chop hops. His video will follow later, so be sure to check back.

  1. It looks so lovely and warm! My husband used to windsurf in the Lake District – I remember it being very grey and cold – not at all like your pictures – I would be happy to sit with my book and watch him in those conditions!

    • It was really nice there. And you are right, a lot of ‘significant others’ accompany their partner and simply enjoy some relaxation on Bonaire. I exactly know what you mean by very grey and cold conditions while windsurfing – had plenty of those, too ๐Ÿ˜‰
