Welcome to my ~foggy Instagram ~ WW Hop!
“On Wednesdays all over the internet, bloggers post a photograph with no words to explain it on their blog. Hence the ‘wordless wednesday’ title. The idea is that the photo itself says so much that it does not need any description.”

Above are a few of my favorite sites hosting a Wordless Wednesday blog hop. You can also grab my button as a reminder to link up every week with some of your great photos, and possibly an added word or two!

I especially love the second picture with that border around it.It looks mysterious.
Thank you,Heather. That truly is the way it felt when I was there, taking the photo
Love the processing on the second photo!I agree,it evokes mystery.
Not really much processing on these photos,Mary. The mystery in this case is nature itself 🙂
“the woods is lovely dark and deep……and miles to go before I sleep”
Not me of course–one of my faves Robert Frost. It’s what immediately popped into my mind.I so love the marriage of a great shot with inspiring words.
And I love the words that you find for my or your own pictures.
Fab photos nice and clear especially the second one 🙂
Thank you so much!
I love how the sun is trying to burn through the fogginess. The trees are beautiful silhouettes against the foggy backdrop.Your over-all image has that sepia feel to it.Did you shot it or photo edited your image with this effect or was this all actually the way the view looked?Whatever the answer is it doesn’t matter because I just love the final outcome!Ah…your second one…the blue hues makes me cold and I get a bit of a creepy sensation looking at it.There isn’t an ax-murderer lurking in the woods is there?Happy WW!
In both pictures they are the real colors that were present those days(different days). The sun,was fairly early morning, briefly after sunrise,so the(color)temperature was still pretty cool or pale. You can just barely see the bluish color on the top of the photo. So,no,it is not a sepia edit(I don’t actually like sepia very much anyhow),but real.
And the second one–honestly?I was looking around and behind myself and around big tree trunks a lot more than I usually do,because it really did have a little bit of a creepy feeling to it.And I was alone–or so I thought…
What a lovely foggy morning. It’s ripe for a monster lol.
I love me a good fog in my photos–lol–but no monsters, please!
I really like that first one!Looks romantic. The second one looks a little scary to me–like the swamp thing is about to come out of the depths to eat me!Aaaah!😉
You really got the moods of both photos absolutely,100%correct,Janice.That is how I saw and felt them, too.
Yowzers! The colors in that second shot take my breath away!
Hopefully not for too long,Kathy,I wouldn’t want you to suffocate!LOL–thank you.
Beautiful,haunting pictures!Love them!
Thank you very much,McGuffy Ann Morris(is there a short form of your name,or would that be considered disrespectful, which I really don’t mean to be?).Do they inspire you for another story? That would be fab…
You can call me Annie.Friends do,and I am fine with that!
You are so very talented!
Phew–I am very glad that you were not offended–you never know, when writing on the internet.Thank you so much,Annie.Very pleased to meet you and to getting to know you more. And I sure will see you around and read your stories on Sundays,Fridays,Wednesdays or any other day, right?Have a wonderful rest of the week!
gorgeous but a little eerie
It was a very eerie feeling shooting there all alone…
Great shots,I was really drawn into that last photo,so dramatic.
Seriously,I had never felt that kind of eerie feeling before when being out and about shooting. It was a pretty special kind of time and place that only happens once in a while 🙂
I love the fog.I always get excited when I hear we may have some around my parts but it usually happens in the mornings and I’m not waking up for anything!
Me,too,I am the same. The best fog is normally early, early in the morning, when I am either still in bed or getting ready for work,so no photos. But this time, because it was this weird weather pattern it was actually during the day–yay!
