“On Wednesdays all over the internet, bloggers post a photograph with no words to explain it on their blog. Hence the ‘wordless wednesday’ title. The idea is that the photo itself says so much that it does not need any description.”
The list of WW blog hops got a little out of hand, so I have moved it to its very own page here. Most likely you will find me linking up on any or all of these sites you will find on it.

Why don’t you join me along my journey and follow me on , and if you prefer and see what I come up with next. You can, of course, also subscribe by email – (click) here or you may follow my blog with Bloglovin or my preferred reader Feedly.
Drop me a comment and you’ll make me smile!
I’ll send you a photo I have hanging in my bathroom that yours reminded me of….LOVE ..as always. Sorry to sound like a broken record but it’s true!
Yes, send me that photo. I can totally picture that lonely tree in your yoga…
A broken record is bad. Repetition – in a way, too. But your comments are certainly wonderful 🙂
I love the coloring, or lack of coloring, in your photos.
Thanks, Joyce. B&W truly has it’s very own magic. As much as I love colors, I guess I will always love monochrome.
Loving the trees. Thanks for hosting!
Thank you very much, Jaime. Trees are important to life and are fascinating in many ways.
Great photo.
Thank you, Patrick.
Lovely black and white photos. I’ve yet to do B/w compositions with the pictures that I take on my handphone.
Thanks so much, Dominique. B&W is very easy on your phone. Check out my iPhone tips. Any of the mentioned apps also feature monochrome conversions.
I like these the b/w make them look eerie too 🙂
Yes, exactly, they do, don’t they? I love that about b&w.
They are beautiful scenes =)
Thank you so much, Merlinda.
What a big, beautiful tree in B&W! I think trees are magical and majestic. Sometimes I’ll see an interesting tree, but after I photograph it is loses it appeal. I’m not sure why that is, but the translation seems lost. Happy #WW!
I know exactly what you mean, Cathy. It sometimes is hard to capture their sheer size, in a physical sense, and transport it on to a canvas. Oh well, does not matter, I will keep trying.
Thanks for sharing those tips! Happy Wednesday!
You’re welcome, Diana. Hope you can use some of them.
The photos are beautiful!
Thank you very much, I’m glad you like them!
I love black and white forest photos. They spark my imagination way better than color. I was going to do a WW today but time got away from me and I had to leave for work. Maybe tonite.
Of course, you do. No surprise that I do, too. So, where is your WW?!
“the woods are lovely, dark and deep…”
perfection.
Yes, they are.
(has nothing more to say)
That lone tree is magnificent. It calls for me to sit under it, to rest, to write, to dream…
I can totally understand the feeling, Janice. Kind of why I took the picture in the first place.
However, in reality, when I took that picture I do not think you would have sat there as it was wet and so muddy I had to take off my boots before entering the house (which we usually don’t do). They were soaked 😀
Love that tree picture.. so dramatic and lonesome.. it’s awesome! <3 – http://www.domesticgeekgirl.com
Thank you so much, Gingi. I like that you like 🙂
Very beautiful! I can’t wait to read hour tips as soon as I get a bit of downtime!
Downtime? What’s that?! hahaha – I hope you are getting your downtime soon. Everybody needs some to recharge. So, go and get it. And read my tips 🙂
Wonderful picture with some nice tones in B & W in this fantastic forest! High quality art photo !!
Ps. Yes, I’d be happy if you link my picture, thank you very much!
