Welcome to the weekend. Welcome to my Saturday linky party – s~A(R)T~urday!
“I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free” Michelangelo
Happy 4th of July!
That being said, I expect you all to be out and about, on the beach, bbq-ing, visiting family and all that good stuff. Us, we will be having a quiet weekend at home. We already were out and about yesterday, bicycling in Kittattinny and also had our BBQ at night. it was such a beautiful day. Let’s see what the rest of the weekend will bring. Let me tell you though, it didn’t start too well this morning. My first cup of coffee – landed straight on my desk. Yep, clumsiness took over, I bumped it and had the brown fluid all over the desk and myself. Luckily no computer or its peripherals were harmed. Oh well…
Monica of NatureFootstep had the last entry in previous week’s s~A(R)T~urday. Do you know what a Columbine looks like? I guess I don’t, because I didn’t recognize it. She shows us a white one, and it is simply gorgeous. Please check it out here: Last week’s entry here.
And this here is my latest image, I call it ‘breathe/breeze‘. Typically I don’t name my images and rather leave it up to the viewer, but in this case, I felt I had to. I used a model photo by Sebastian Michaels with lots of added textures and brushes. You could say that a lot of intricate Photoshop mojo went into this creation. I had fun creating it – I hope you like it.
What ever you’ll be doing this weekend, I hope you’re having fun! Have an awesome Holiday weekend here in the US and a wonderful weekend everywhere else! I’ll be seeing all you next week.

Blowing a kiis … comes to mind and it brings to mind how a single kiss can cause havoc in certain circimstances. This is very clever, Claudia and well done with the photo edits. I have come to look forward to what you might come up with each week. Thanks for hosting this linky … it is a wonderful challenge 🙂

Interesting picture! Thoughts of Eve and of Snow White flashed through my head! I linked up this time with an article that I wrote last month for Halloween Artist Bazaar. It features some of my photos. I need to write something for mine too. I keep writing for others and over look me! LOL!
Lovely digital artwork…♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/monolith/
Your work is beautiful! glad I popped over here to see it. The colors and the emotional response I got from looking is wonderful. Brava!
Happy Independence Day to you, Claudia – enjoy your weekend and I hope you didn’t burn yourself in the spill!
I LOVE this week’s art -= one of my favorite pieces you’ve shared so far! The images and colors just resonate with me!
Have a wonderful week, dear friend! 🙂
lovely work of art. I like especially the choice of colors. They ad a lot to the image.
First off, great image. I was thinking of Snow White too when I first saw it. 🙂 Secondly, for some reason I can’t leave comments from the iPad anymore. As soon as the subscribe box pops up I’m basically locked out – I can’t close the box and I can’t leave a comment. 🙁 Not sure if it’s on my end or if it’s just an iPad issue.
What a lovely image! I really enjoy the whimsy of it. I’m hoping that this coming week I will be organized enough to participate with you. The house is mostly unpacked and thanks to my in-laws, the yard is nicely sorted. Everything left with the move is just fine details.
Thank you for joining us for Photo Friday again this week!
this is simply gorgeous!! I love the whole dreamy feel of it. the flowers in her hair, the way you did the breath – everything.
and the colours are amazing.
I thought you all would be partying hard down there over the weekend, so I didn’t link up. But it sounds like you had a holiday much like us… quiet at home. mind you ours was due to thunder storms rolling in. LOL
other than that, I’ve been busy wrangling more children than Art lately. hopefully I can find a rhythm this summer.
Very mystical and I just love the colors!
I love this! So amazing! #MySundayPhoto
Darn, Claudia! I missed linking on Saturday! On well…this is a marvelous photo-art creation. I really, really like the fantasy detailing added to your picture. I’m kinda way off lately and am adding a link back to this meme on my #WW post, so don’t be surprised if I miss linking up again. Anywho, thanks for hosting the fun and sharing your creativity!
