After our boat tour around Manhattan we walked up to the USS Intrepid. It was shining beautifully in the warm light of the setting sun. #NYC #Intrepid sunset

It’s been a long time since we visited the USS Intrepid – way before they moved her for some maintenance. This is an awesome shot!
Thank you, Susi! You know, we or I haven’t actually visited yet, just walked past. It is one of the things I want to do with David once his foot injury has healed.
Great shot.
and it must be a cool boat, ship….whatever, because when I said the name out loud, hubby came running over.
I assume it must carry planes, jets, whatever….
…I’m such a girl. 🙂
Being a girl is good. I’m one, too, I just happen to love ay kind of ship or boat. Yes, the Intrepid is an aircraft carrier out of commission and now serving as a museum. Also home to the space shuttle these days. I really have to visit…
