Easter time! here on Good Friday for Fine Art Friday. The company I’m working for is one of the very few in the US that closed their office today. So, I got to stay at home and dabble in my photos and website. This photo being the result. Yesterday at work during lunch we got creative and dyed the hard boiled eggs that we had brought in. In the end we put all eggs in a basket and… took photos. Being me, I couldn’t just leave the photo alone, but made it look like an old, slightly faded and grainy film photo complete with a frame. Nostalgic.
Do you have a Fine Art Friday blog post? Share it in the comments, I would love to stop by.
But now to the weekly blog hop I am participating in over at Hilary’s blog.

Each week, I plan on listing four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill inโs of your own, please email them to me at Hilary(at)feelingbeachie(dot)com. If I use them, I will add you as co-host to the hop! This weekโs co-host is Beth Ann from Its Just Life โ she came up with the last two statements!
I would LOVE it if you could please help me spread the word about this hopโฆ. So, please tweet, FaceBook share, and add the linky to your postโฆ
This weekโs statements:
1. My favorite advice to give is be open-minded – there are always at least two sides to something.
2. A few years ago I stopped driving like a German speed demon, I drive much more civilized now.
3. The weather around me being too cold tends to lend itself to wishing summer or at least spring were here.
4. 2013 is both exciting, challenging and normal at the same time.

I wish the weather would walm up a bit here too, that way I could start enjoying my garden again. You have very wise advise I try my hardest to always be open minded.

Garden – hmm, what is that?! Seriously though, I think spring is just around the corner here in NJ
You have provided a fantastic site.
Thank you, Isidro!
Love the picture and I don’t drive as fast as I used to.
Thanks, Judy – maybe it comes with getting older = driving slow(er)?
I so agree with your number one. I always say that every story has three sides.
Exactly, Hilary. And, aren’t there just way too many people out there who think ‘my way only’?!
Siehste mal, ich dachte, die Eier wรคren von der Fareb so rausgekommen – ist meine Mutter mal passiert… ๐
Alles Liebe und frรถhliche Feiertage!
Hehehe – nee, nee liebe Catha, sind sie nicht. Obwohl sie schon eher pastell als knallig waren, was ich aber eigentlich ganz schoen fand.
Euch auch alles Liebe (p.s. ich meld mich demnaechst, not to worry)
I agree with number one. I learned to drive here and never once drove on Germany – it scares me. I always make the hubby drive – and he does drive like a speed demon!!! ๐ Have a nice weekend and Frohe Ostern! P.S. Love the pic…
Oh, I don’t have a problem at all to drive in Germany, no no no, I love it and still drive like speed demon over there. I think its more along the line of adjusting the way you drive to your environment ๐
Danke und Euch auch frohe Ostern!
Good advice and this is what I follow as well. Still a speed demon, though. ๐
Yeah, it is not always easy, but it is a good way. A-ha – still a speed demon, huh?! Better be careful on your upcoming Europe trip
I like to watch others drive fast — but I am a bit more conservative myself. I usually have 3 kids in the car.
but I will admit to speed fluctuations based on the song playing. LOL
mmmm……chocolate easter eggs. best pic ever! ๐
I’m happy you like my little Easter pic ๐ Very understandable and recommended to drive conservatively with kids in the car. I remember my brother used to drive really fast, but as soon as he had kids – that speed was gone. Which is good. Isn’t it always this way with songs? I love to listen to music when I cook and one is very dependent on the other somehow.
Hi Claudia, I also like your number 1 answer…being open-minded is so important especially in this day and age when the world is soooooooooo huge, yet so close. You’re day off was well spent–loved the egg photo! Happy Weekend!
You are absolutely right about our big world growing together at a fast pace. Thank you for liking my egg photo ๐
