June’s first Fine Art Friday and I am starting it with my ending of May. Yes, you read right. On Facebook I am participating in a very talented group of photographers called Color’s of 2013. Like the name says, it is all about colors. At the end of the previous month we decide on the new month’s color and go out and shoot it. May’s color is easy to guess, it was blue. Can you envision how many shades and hues of blue there are? Have a look at this blog post showing all collages of all participants in this group. Blue was never ‘my color’, but these pictures are so diverse and beautiful, every single one in their own style, but blue – well worth of a Fine Art Friday post.
Not too hard to guess for you who know me. All of my pictures were taken during our last trip to Bonaire. Crashing waves and floating clouds will always be something that fascinates me.

Each week, I plan on listing four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to me at Hilary(at)feelingbeachie(dot)com. If I use them, I will add you as co-host to the hop! This week’s co-host is PAM from TROOPPETRIE who came up with the last statement! I REALLY NEED CO-HOSTS, after so many weeks I am running out of statements!
I would LOVE it if you could please help me spread the word about this hop…. So, please tweet, FaceBook share, and add the linky to your post…
This week’s statements:
1. I love that my husband has got the pins taken out of his fractured hand because now I don’t have to chauffeur him everywhere everyday (all you moms out there I feel for you in that respect…).
2. Sometimes I wonder how people lived without internet in the past.
3. I love to get postcards in the mail because they show me beautiful places friends of mine visited and I could, too.
4. I If I could change the temperature today to about 82°F (AND stop the rain) then I’d be happy.

Number 3 is lovely : ) I love getting postcards too! Beautiful pictures btw love those blue tones x
Thank you, Rachel. Yes, I hope postcards will not be totally forgotten.
I love blue and all things blue. Your pictures are amazing – my favorite is the bottom right one. The power of that wave is just amazing. I bet it was no fun having to drive David everywhere – stuff like this happens and it makes you appreciate so many everyday things much more! Have a great weekend!!!
You are certainly not alone with your love for blue. David loves it, too. Yes, when your oh so organized little world changes it sure gets you to appreciate what you had. That is – if you liked it 😉
Nature holds so many beautiful colors! Look forward to June in color as well.
Well, only about 3 weeks to go until the June collage, Judy.
I am with you on stopping the rain.. enough already!
Its amazing, it has not stopped for one second today, all day. I do sometimes like the rain though, going for a walk, it is so refreshing. But at the moment – no thank you.
Sounds like we are all stuck in the rain today. Bonaire definitely looks more appealing.
I love postcards too. I love sending them when I go someplace, which is all too rare, and I love receiving them too.
Oh yes, Bonaire is very lovely, although, it does have its rainy season being so close to the equator.
I feel the same way about #4. Also, I can’t remember life without the Internet!
Have a great weekend!
Let it be warm again. Then again, internet is more fun when there is a reason to stay inside 😉
