Vintage! Somehow I seem to be drawn to vintage these days. So, here @ Fine Art Friday I am showing you another blossom, a Japanese Cherry, with bokeh to add some depth and dynamic, plus a texture for good measure. I still have a few photos of blossoms to edit, which is a good thing, because after all the rain we had yesterday and today, most of them are gone for the season.

This is from Hilary’s blog:
Each week, I plan on listing four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to me at Hilary(at)feelingbeachie(dot)com. If I use them, I will add you as co-host to the hop! This week’s co-host is UTLEY from UTLEY’S TAKE– He came up with the last two statements!
I would LOVE it if you could please help me spread the word about this hop…. So, please tweet, FaceBook share, and add the linky to your post…
This week’s statements:
1. If I had any blank prompts then I would mail them to Hilary promptly.
2. Summer is my favorite season of the year. Or is it spring? Or autumn? Definitely not winter!
3. Once, I was surprised to find myself getting married.
4. To keep from going crazy, I bake a cake or work out or edit photos, all depending on mood and circumstances.

Thank you for being my reader.
I can’t decide on my favourite season either, all are great in their own way including winter when we get to snuggle up by the fire with a hot chocolate and watch old movies : ) – Have a lovely day x
That part of winter I do like, too, but it still it is not my favorite season. If I had to make a choice it would be summer, I guess.
This reminds me of the old botanical prints done during Victorian times, very old world feel also. Very lovely work Claudia!
Thank you very much, Debbi 🙂
Love the cherry blossom. Can hardly wait for summer.
Summer, where I am, is definitely just around the corner. So good… to come outside from a chilly office into the warmth of summer…
I definitely prefer summer. it is all too short up here, so I appreciate it FULLY while it lasts.
beautiful picture. my peonies are almost the same shade. I cannot wait for their big blooms to appear.
my pics won’t be as good as yours though 🙂
Summer is an awesome time of year! I love peonies – I hope I can find some this year to take pics of. Thank you, Les.
I agree with #2 – I like all the seasons except for winter.
Finally someone who agrees with me 😉 Thanks, Yvonne!
I love to bake too when I feel the crazy coming on. But without the any extra little hands around! 🙂
I can only imagine that too many little (or big) hands would not be very soothing trying to bake
Put your thinking cap on… I can really use some statements 🙂
One of these days, Hilary, one of these days…
