Welcome to my ~ ice age Instagram ~ WW Hop!
“On Wednesdays all over the internet, bloggers post a photograph with no words to explain it on their blog. Hence the ‘wordless wednesday’ title. The idea is that the photo itself says so much that it does not need any description.”

Above are a few of my favorite sites hosting a Wordless Wednesday blog hop. You can also grab my button as a reminder to link up every week with some of your great photos, and possibly an added word or two!

They look very effective 🙂
Have a tanfastic week 😉
Thank you, Steve, you, too!
they look amazing!
It was pretty amazing to see.
I will never stop being in awe of your talent.
Awe, that is so nice of you to say, Julie 🙂 Thank you very much!
Very cool shots!!
Cool – indeed! LOL
I may not care for the cold weather anymore but these pictures are beautiful. I really like the first one.
I completely understand and feel exactly the same way, Raven. It is a good thing though that we are still able to see its beauty 🙂
Beautiful captures. Loved the composition.
Thank you very much, also for stopping by and leaving a comment.
I so love how the ice changes the subject of the photo just enough to give it new interest.
those chilly blades of green look really cool. It’s like mini ocean waves.
Hehe – mini ocean waves, well, that grass sure was very very close to the ocean. Maybe it got a little jealous 😉
So over the cold weather already, where is spring?
I’m an April baby, where are my April Flowers?
Thanks for the linky, I linked up! Happy WW!
Oh, come on, Tracy – by April I am sure you will be having your flowers – unless, of course, you’re in Canada 😉
Great close up shots! I love the second one best. It’s great seeing frozen perception accumulated on everything like that. A couple of occasions we have gone to the mountains and were privileged to see such splendor in nature. It’s simply gorgeous! I have question for you regarding WP. How do you get a footer on your blog? Is this more or less have to do with the theme you choose or can you install a plugin? Happy WW!
Thanks, Cathy. A ‘good’ close up and/or ice sure does change the perspective of what is conceived as normal a lot. Thank you!
A footer? Well, honestly, it has been only a couple of weeks that I have ever, and I mean ever, used a footer on my blog. And it sure came with the theme. I’ve seen them around on other wp sites and believe also they came with the theme. I would have to search myself if there is a plugin for one if your theme doesn’t come with it. In wp there do seem to be plugins for just about everything.
Love that bottom shot. Did you get down on the ground for that one? I like the perspective. After walking through the art displayed this past weekend I may start to play around with focus and other edits a bit more again. Saw so many cool things. 🙂
I sure did, Susi – no pain, no gain – as they say. Because it was freakin’ freezing when I took that picture… I like it that you got inspired by visiting the art festival, look forward to seeing some of the results.
Beautiful shots! Have a terrific day!
Thank you so much, Cascia!
Great shots! Love the colors in the first one!
Thanks, Debbi. Those colors really struck me a little weird, because at the time everything was white and frozen and a very cool (color) temperature. But then there were these warm colored brown leaves – in the middle of the ice, frozen. Amazing.
Beautiful ice shots BUT…soooo looking forward to spring 🙂
I know, Kathy. Believe me – so.am.I.really.
Those are some chilly looking pictures! Great post.
And chilly it was! Thank you.
