Merry Christmas 2014 – Instagram *(i)PhoneOnly* photos ~ WW Hop!
To see these first hand connect with me on Instagram here
“On Wednesdays all over the internet, bloggers post a photograph with no words to explain it on their blog. Hence the ‘wordless wednesday’ title. The idea is that the photo itself says so much that it does not need any description.”
The list of WW blog hops got a little out of hand, so I have moved it to its very own page here. Most likely you will find me linking up on any or all of these sites you will find on it.

Merry Merry Claudia! Do you ice skate? That is something I have never tried. I hope you and David have a wonderful Christmas Day together. Hugs and love to both of you!!
Thank you, Debbi, same to you and yours!
I used to ice skate a lot as a kid and teenager. I think I went once with David in Vienna, but not so much these days. I always wanted to go on the Rockefeller Rink at least once, but have not done it so far.
Cheers to Christmas in NYC!!
Thank you, Cathi. Same to you on the other side of this continent 😉
What a great capture! I love Byryant Park. Merry Christmas!

I love Bryant Park, too. At any time of the year. But Christmas is pretty special there.
Brilliant!…Merry Christmas from London 🙂
Thank you, Steve. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas over the pond 🙂
Love the video! Fast and fun! Wishing you a merry Christmas =)
Thanks a lot, Merlinda. I hope you had a good time, too!
Happy Christmas to you. Have a good time.
Thanks, Patrick, I hope that you enjoyed yours as well.
I would love to be able to go ice skating this Christmas too!
You know, I haven’t gone ice skating since I was a teen, with one exception. And I would not mind trying it again.
I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and 2015 only brings great things your way
Thank you so much, Hilary. The same to you.
I think ice-skating is the most perfect subject for a high-speed video. I still struggle to find a good use for it.
I’ve been using the iPhone a lot more for personal photos over the holidays. It just requires less thought and I still love what it does.
Unfortunately though they were just finishing and leaving the ice to clean it. That’s why it is so short. I am sure one of these days you’ll find a time-laps-suitable-subject. And until then you have lots of other photos to shoot. By now, I really think the iPhone is a very valid contender for ‘best point&shoot-always-there’ camera. Like you say, when you snap photos of you family interacting etc. etc. you do not need a hi-res DSLR for it, because most likely you’re never going to edit those photos in depth anyhow. A ‘real’ photoshoot is something totally different.
It all looks so Merry and Bright!! Would love to get on that skating rink!
as you can probably tell, I’ve been on extended blogging break. Company for a week didn’t leave much time for writing posts, or ready any either. But I rather enjoy the break though too — maybe a nice rest and reboot for 2015!
