In the spirit of last week’s Fine Art Friday I am posting another image from my recent visit(s) to New York City. So many Christmas lights to see and I really enjoyed the giant NYC Christmas ornaments – here captured with the special lens and its star aperture. Enjoy & merry Christmas to all Follow Friday Four fillers and readers!

And now to the regular feature of Friday Four Fill ins ~ here is from Hilary’s blog:
Okay, you know the deal – Each week, I list four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to me . If I use them, I will add you as co-host to the hop! This week’s co-host is BETH ANN from IT’S JUST LIFE – she who came up with the last two statements.
1) How is it that my 1-year-anniversary at my current company is around the corner and I have been almost 3 years in the US?
2) I can’t believe how much easier it was to leave Germany than to leave Australia – oops…
3) I like my job (8 – 5) and I still wish it was only an 8 – 12 job, so I had time for photography.
4) If I could I would do photography and go windsurfing all day and then chill and process the photos at night.

I love hopping over to see your pictures. Working isn’t everything however it does help pay for retirement.
Oh yes, I am well aware of that ‘dreaded need for money’ – LOL. You know, Judy, you are always welcome to take a peek at my photos. Let me know if you have a question, wonder how something was done – I plan on putting together a series of photography tips blog posts 🙂
Love that photo!!
Thank you, Lisa. It just screams Christmas!
it would be wonderful if we had more time to do what we love
It sure would be, although I highly suspect we would find something else to long for 😉
It would be nice to just do what we love all day, wouldn’t it?
Oh wait….I kinda did get to do that when the kids weren’t in school and it was just us all day.
exhausting as that was. Now I am enjoying doing some Other things I love and not having to stop to wipe something in between. ha.
Your photography is just lovely, so I think we would all benefit from you being able to to do that! 🙂
Merry Christmas to you and yours! Hope you have a lovely holiday of Peace, Joy and full of love.
Yes, it would. Although I sometimes wonder if we might get bored doing it all day every day? Then again, I don’t think there is a big chance to find out any time soon. But thank you for being such a loyal follower of my photography 😉
Merry Christmas to your family and you, too, Leslie!
Looks like a beautiful Christmas capture.
Thank you, Joyce. It sure is. These are the giant Christmas ornaments on 6th Avenue in New York City. And the photo taken with the star aperture of my LensBaby added the effect. http://www.imagesbycw.com/nyc-christmas-ornaments/
