A photoart timelapse video from Lightroom to the finished image

Welcome to sARTurday – the Saturday art linkup

Good morning, All and welcome to another edition of sARTurday.

Apologies for being slightly late again, but last night we had an internet outage, so I couldn’t schedule the post. I also couldn’t do any of the other internet stuff and therefore opted to record some photoart in the making to share with you today.

I even wanted to talk to you and set up my microphone tested it and everything worked great.

At least until the 2nd or 3rd part of the whole video. Somehow, and I did not change the microphone or setting – it’s weird, all of sudden my voice completely faded into the background. As I didn’t notice that until this morning and most of the image was done, I couldn’t do anything about it.

So, instead of a long video showing and explaining you all the steps in details, I am sharing once again a time-lapse of the photoart video with a music overlay.

Hopefully you will still enjoy it.

Oh, and by the way, I do like the original macro shot. But sometimes it is plain fun to play around in Photoshop, you should give it a try.Cheers,

claudia3

If I have time I will be linking with one or more of the fine people in this collection – check them out!

Photoart video – the process

1) shot a macro photo 2) basic adjustment in LR 3) edit in Photoshop 4) add textures 5) add lots of adjustment layers until you like the outcome

  1. Claudia, this is amazing and so beautiful. I am in awe. I really know nothing about Photoshop. Where would I even begin? Is there a program for someone like me? I need one to correct things or clean up a background. I would like to just add a frame sometimes. But, I know nothing. Free programs seem very limited, but so am I. Advice? I respect and admire what you do. This is awesome. HUGS!

I need to work with a free image editing program.

  3. fascinating to watch the process and a beautiful piece that looks like it was layered with wax. So much to know about Photoshop. I’ve only dabbled in it. Happy PPF and happy weekend!

  4. Claudia, I’m finding new ways to create photo-art, not to the extent of yours but hopefully the more I experiment the better I’ll get with it. Thank you for sharing how you create this piece turning a simple image into something larger! Have a great week! 🙂
