Welcome to sARTurday – the Saturday art linkup
Hello and welcome to the latest edition of sARTurday. Quite early today. And I will continue to at least try and post earlier, even Friday evening, and thus making it easier for you to participate.
Otherwise I will be pretty wordless today. Why? Just because. And maybe also because there are words on one of my latest art projects: Positive affirmation cards. They are made on heavy watercolor paper with watercolor inks, metallic incs, glitter (oh no!!), print, glue and ink. Did I forget something? Yes! A little bit of my soul, too.Cheers,
If I have time I will be linking with one or more of the fine people in this collection – check them out!
Positive Affirmation Cards
this is one of the four sides of cards before I cut it into said cards
We used to make cards like this in art at school using left over bits and bobs. Hugs, Valerie
I love this idea!
Claudia, they are gorgeous! What a wonderful idea.
These all came out so pretty. I love all the colors. It is a great way to use up the left overs.
These are wonderful. Will you be adding your own writing to them or other people’s quotes and poetry? This is definitely something that I can relate to. I use this kind of thing for bookmarks in books of all kinds, including journals. Excellent work, my friend! Hugs.
beautiful painted backgrounds!
These are fabulous!!! You could sell these they are so beautiful and positive. Love this idea. Love that you are showing us more of your soul 🙂
Also, thank you for the incredible gift!!! I just got it yesterday, and I am so thrilled and honoured. I can’t wait to read it again, and then my son saw it and he wants to read it after too. Which is the best thing about story telling —- that we share it. <3
Your cards are beautiful and boy, do we need positive affirmation these days … You need to go our and get back the artists that were posting on you before … I don’t think they realize you are back 🙂 Have a good and positive week, Claudia …

Creative and wonderful affirmation cards ~ love them!
Wishing you a Happy Week ahead ~ ^_^
Wow this is such a wonderful idea! I love your cards and how the colors are shimmering and I love the idea of having each over one of these cards in my handbag to take it with me all day.
These backgrounds are beautiful. I used to do big paintings like this to use in Photoshop for big wall-sized images. It’s so much fun.
I have never made or used positive affirmation cards, but those are beautiful indeed!
beautuiful affirmation cards Claudia
I love your ATC’s. or are the aceos? anyway they are beautiful, and I enjoyed reading the captions. I haven’t done any ATC’s in about 3 years!
They’re beautiful. I have post-it notes with affirmations, but nothing like this. My mother-in-law PAINTS hers. Crazy awesome.
So pretty. I’ve never even heard of affirmation cards. It’s a great idea. I’d frame them and put them in a spot where I would see them everyday, especially in the morning.
Love them quite clever and a change from the usual cards 🙂
Have a cardtastic week and thanks for wafting by 🙂
Eine coole Idee mit wunderschönen Farben.
Liebe Grüße
Beautiful mix of colours! You’ve been busy! 🙂
Lovely cards, Claudia!
