Today I will show you two photos of the very same subject. San Fernando Cathedral in downtown San Antonio, TX. They were taken the same day, actually within the same hour, both are HDR processing, but… I am pretty sure that your opinions will differ a lot on these. I am curious – tell me which one you prefer and why. I believe it will also give me a glimpse into you.

Each week, I plan on listing four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to me . If I use them, I will add you as co-host to the hop! This week’s co-host is Beth Ann from It’s Just Life – she came up with the last two statements! I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY NEED SOME STATEMENTS!
I would LOVE it if you could please help me spread the word about this hop…. So, please tweet, FaceBook share, andadd the linky to your post…
This week’s statements:
1) Good things do happen.
2) I hate when you plan a wonderful day off work and then, stuff just happens unplanned.
3) The bravest thing I have ever done is I don’t know, I don’t know if I’ve ever done anything brave.
4) I like my life and where i.e. to whom it has led me.

Good things do happen – you are so right. I always try to believe in good and positive things. As for the photos – I like them both for different reasons. I love the first shot. It looks so gloomy , mysterious and threatening and the first thing that came to mind was Mortal Instruments – somehow that’s how I imagine one of the cathedrals in the book looks like. (I have not seen the movie yet.) But the bottom shot looks more serene and happy with the bright sunshine – not as forbidding!
I agree with you on the two shots. Hmm, I haven’t heard of Mortal Instruments and had to look it up. Sounds like my kind of books/movie – thanks!
I love your pictures. I am drawn to the colored picture for its scenery however the B & W is very gothic.
Thank you, Judy. They sure are very different 🙂
Your #2 happened to me yesterday : ( Enjoy your day and have a lovely weekend x
Oh no! I hope in a good way… I took Friday off and was almost expecting it to happen – again. But, alas it didn’t – I had a wonderful day
Claudia, these are both fantastic shots! One is a great scenery capture and the other feels more artistic and moody… beautiful!
Thank you very much, Jennifer. You are absolutely correct. One is an almost ‘normally processed’ landscape, whereas the other one involved a little bit more.
Now that black and white photo is wicked awesome. I love that one!!!!
How did I know that this one would hit a nerve with you, Debbi 🙂
