Wordless Wednesday – August 01

Wordless Wednesday on the Internet

“On Wednesdays all over the internet, bloggers post a photograph with no words to explain it on their blog. Hence the ‘wordless’ title. The idea is that the photo itself says so much that it does not need any description.”

    • Cute, huh?! I had to really make myself post that picture. Helmets are great, but always look pretty ‘stupid’. Thanks for your comment, Kathryn!

    • Group hug – yeah to that! Cannot get enough of those 🙂 A radish, no, no, no – it is very simply a slice of a cooked potato, before it was made into potato salad – LOL. I know it is a tough one, and could easily be mistaken for radish. Nobody I asked got it right… Thanks, Deb!

  1. Claudia, the radish picture reminded me of the first time we were in a beer hall in Germany. Had to ask the “waiter” what the whipped cream on a plate was all about. I was astounded when I was told that this was a pile of peeled and sliced radishes! Naturally we got some.

    • Hahaha – love it, everybody thinks it is a radish. It is a sliced potato (for the salad recipe I posted a while back). Must be the funny lighting and processing, but honestly I love it that most people do not see the potato. I’d really like to hear what other people thought that did not post ;). A beer hall in Germany – let me guess: Oktoberfest in Munich? ‘Whipped cream’ instead of horseradish – funny – I guess you were quite surprised by the different taste to cream – LOL!
