A sunny day’s drive gone – dark
(Disclaimer: Everything is fine, but I got asked by someone to post a somewhat darker photo amongst all the flowers and such, so – here you go, a dark texture!)

And now for the Friday Four Fill ins ~ here is from Hilary’s blog:
Okay, you know the deal – Each week, I list four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to me . If I use them, I will add you as co-host to the hop! This week’s co-host is Leslie from Time out for Mom. She came up with the last two statements! I REALLY NEED STATEMENTS! This week’s statements:
1) I really like to have a coffee and go jogging in the early a.m.
2) I wish the weather would always stay warm, sunny and windy (Bonaire!).
3) Our deck is my favorite place when I am reading
4) If I hear our screaming neighbor one more time, I will scream, too! (No, I guess, you’re right – I won’t)

i love the “feel” of an oncoming storm in this image, you can really feel it. a great capture!!
‘Feel’ is the right word, Debbie, since it really was a wonderful sunny, blue skies kind of day
Hi Claudia!
Is that a New Jersey road? I was born and raised in Toms River, NJ.
Happy Jersey Weekend to you 🙂
Hey Maureen, that is correct. Further north than Toms River. It is right around the corner from me in Whippany.
With our weather getting nicer, I’m hoping to be sitting out on the deck more often and read too. Hope you have a great weekend!
Well, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you. Right now our nicer weather seems to be taking a nap 🙂
Cool! Road Noir. I likes it!
It is an experiment, Debbi – going over to the dark side…
screaming neighbor? That isn’t fun…
Especially in summer, when we usually have our windows open. I should have also said, that it seems to be her voice, maybe she is not even screaming, but it has got this high pitch full of anxiety that really gets to you. Also at night… SMH
Oh I love the darker texture. I can just picture a midnight motorbike ride with the wind whistling in the pines.
the tires drumming the beat upon the paved road.
I have the perfect poem to go with that 🙂
Thanks for the thumbs up! I don’t know, I mean I really do like darker pictures, I see them around some of my photographer friends, however, somehow my pictures usually end up… lighter. But that’s o.k.
Hey, if you want to borrow the picture for one of your poems, you are very welcome, Les. Just shoot me a line and I’ll send it to you 🙂
