To see these first hand connect with me on Instagram here
“On Wednesdays all over the internet, bloggers post a photograph with no words to explain it on their blog. Hence the ‘wordless wednesday’ title. The idea is that the photo itself says so much that it does not need any description.”

I love all the textures and colors so much. I think it’s a framer!
Thanks, Tamara. This is the iPhone edit, I remember that during my Germany visit I specifically wanted to shoot the poppies. So, I also have the ‘real’ photos somewhere. Still to be edited – winter is coming…
Such beautiful colours!
It really is the contrast in them, isn’t it?!
Gorgeous photo. I always struggle to remain wordless each Wednesday.
Thanks, Raychael! Hahaha – I honestly think these days it is mostly o.k. to not be totally wordless for WW. I try to stay silent, but I would not completely shut up.
Interesting composition (I like it…it works) and love the texture!! Happy WW
Thank you, David. You think so? I didn’t think the composition is anything special or out of the ordinary, but, nevervmind, as long as it works, everything is good.
Absolutely gorgeous!!
Happy WW!
Thank you very much, Cathi.
Absolutely dreamy.
I like to dream… hope you had a good one 🙂
So beautiful and so appropriate for today. I love the very tone here, and then the poppy has the pop of colour.
Today? Aaah, you mean Veteran’s Day, huh? Yeah, I guess so. But in that respect – there is always hope, hence the red color spots of poppies (no reference to poppy fields of… was intended)
Love the texture in the photo.
I wish I could tell you, which app I used, but I honestly don’t. Maybe I should write a post about my favorite iPhone apps…
Beautiful photo looks almost like a painting.
Thanks, Rhonda. Maybe a little too much texture? Sometimes I just cannot help myself 🙂
Beautiful. So perfect! The foreground & the background are both stunning =)
Thank you so much, Merlinda. Indeed, I tried to get both into the pic in an interesting way – success!
So Pretty!
Glad you like it, Beth
The warm colors and textures are so inviting. Your image makes me think of brush strokes on a canvas. Very nicely done, Claudia!
It really was warm, Cathy, as the photo was taken in Germany this summer. The texture – that’s it 🙂
Really like how this one turned out. Has a very vintage feel to it for me. 🙂
Thank you, Debbi. I guess it is the crackled texture I used…..
Great photo.
Thank you, Patrick.
What a gorgeous picture. I love the texture and colours.
Thanks a lot, Tami.
Looks absolutely beautiful – you did such a great job!
Happy Wordless Wednesday! 🙂
Thank you so much, Jessica. I really appreciate it. The iPhone camera (plus apps) can be simply amazing.
More poppies. Yay! Great edit. I love the texture on this one. 🙂
‘More poppies’ – did I miss some anywhere? Where? Poppies are beautiful. They pop with their color, which might be the very reason they’re called poppies, huh? 😉
Thanks, Susi!
Beautiful, reminds me of summer days
Mollyxxx
That is exactly when it was taken, Molly. Summertime in Germany 🙂
that’s really pretty – especially following veteran’s day / remembrance day.
thanks for coming by today! i agree. a little wine can be a good thing. 🙂
You know, I posted this without actually thinking about the timing. But now that I have made my rounds on the internet – I get it
Gorgeous! The combination of the red poppies and the golden wheat is delightful.
Thank you, Ida. I found the lucky spot 😉
Wow. That is beautiful! Looks like an art piece, oil panting hung on the wall! I love it!
Thank you so much, Janice. Maybe I should
Great capture!
