“On Wednesdays all over the internet, bloggers post a photograph with no words to explain it on their blog. Hence the ‘wordless’ title. The idea is that the photo itself says so much that it does not need any description.”
Above are a few of my favorite sites hosting Wordless Wednesday blog hops.
You can also grab my button as a reminder to link up every week with some of your great photos, and possibly an added word or two – not more!

Top left photo looks like a wing of an A320 aircraft!! Some very cool photos all the same!
Mines up as well at AussiePomm – Holmenkollen
Have a great day!!
Ahem, I honestly don’t remember, it sounds about right, since United has got a lot of them flying around.
Very nice photos. Very pretty and serene!
Thank you, Theresa!
Beautiful photos. I miss the PNW! Such a beautiful place to live!
I, too, wished I lived there. Opposite coast for me though…
calmness ……
Yes, preferably at the beach as opposed to the plane.
great series. I love the sea grass photos.
Thank you, Beth. I always find the beach inspiring.
I love shooting through flowers or tall grass like this! I haven’t had much opportunity to do this with my new camera. In fact, I haven’t had much chance to do any shooting in a couple of months. I hope to change this now that autumn is here and soon the foliage will be popping out. Thanks for sharing your photos & for hosting this fun meme!
I will keep my fingers crossed for you, Cathy, to get a chance to go out shooting. Autumn colors will be popping very soon!
I feel like any minute now those grasses are going to be blown over with the wind from a passing plane. Great story building in your photography!
Hahaha – very funny, Jamie! Thank God this did not happen 🙂
Love those shots of grass!
Thank you, Erika!
Nice collection of Instagram pics. It is a fun photographic tool, is it not?
Hi Catsynth, yes, yes, yes, it most certainly is a fun app for any smartphone.
Hello World Traveler! Having wind under ones wings is a fabulous feeling! Happy WW
Hi Deborah! I wish I could say full-heartedly ‘yes’, but truth be told the older I get the less I like flying. For various reasons. But it is a necessary thing if you want to visit far away lands. And I definitely want to do that 🙂
Great pictures, simple yet so interesting at the same time.
Thanks for linking up our WWHop 7 at http://www.craftyspices.com
Happy Wednesday !!!!
Instagram sure is simple, but it is also quick and a lot of fun.
Happy WW to you, too, Jay!
Awesome as usual. I am awaiting the update on the Germany trip!
Oops, sorry, Debbi, Germany has to wait for a day or two longer – so much stuff to do – arrrrgh!!
Very nice photos! The PNW is definitely a place I want to visit someday – either Portland or Seattle.
Thank you and good intention, Jamie J. I’d love to visit more often, too. And longer. Every time we go it seems like a total rush, leaving me with the feeling I haven’t seen anything – LOL
Nice Instagram & photo-effects shots!
LOL – yep, I was playing around with another photo app on my smartphone, before posting it to instagram. Every now and then I guess that is o.k. 😉
Love the photos! I think I’m going to have to download that app to my phone. Everyone seems to be having so much fun with it.
Oh oh – don’t blame it on me when you get hooked… On second thought, it’s o.k. if you do. It certainly is fun to play around with it. Although it can be slightly annoying to significant others when you are constantly stopping with your phone in hand 1st to take a photo and 2nd to upload it – LOL
