Welcome to my ~ Old Berlin – Instagram *iPhoneOnly* photos ~ WW Hop!
To see these first hand connect with me on Instagram here
“On Wednesdays all over the internet, bloggers post a photograph with no words to explain it on their blog. Hence the ‘wordless wednesday’ title. The idea is that the photo itself says so much that it does not need any description.”

Gorgeous. I like how there’s a bit of a rainbow of colors in just one photo.
Don’t be, Tamara, it was a biz trip with next to no time for anything else, hence the iPhone snap. Hmm, I don’t think I can take credit for the rainbow colors, it might have been an editing filter that I used.
What a great building, I love the architecture of the building!!! Ive always wondered what it would be like to live in an apartment building like that.
They sure are, Karen, I love all the details. Hmm, what is it like to live in them? High ceilings, clack-er-di-clack of walking on wood floor above you, usually a little lofty – so in general, pretty darn’ good. I lived in one in Mannheim, pretty similar to this one.
Love the filter colors on the building! Have a great day Claudia!
The filter seemed to fit or rather enhance the vintage feel of the old villa. Thanks, Mary.
Lovely Architecture =)
One of the great things of an old town. I love it.
What a magnificent building. Your picture does it great justice.
Thank you, Keith. I tried – it really wasn’t that easy as the tall building just did not want to fit into the screen – LOL
Nice building and very clear photo 🙂
Thank you, Steve. The wonderful camera and chip of the iPhone is to thank for the clarity of the photo 🙂
what a beautiful capture!lovely architecture….
Thank you, Amila, there really are so many beautiful buildings in old towns, like Berlin
I love the architecture of old. It’s so interesting and beautiful with the attention to detail. We don’t take time to do that these days – it’s a bit sad. But I suppose it’s also expensive since time is money.
I didn’t have a chance to do a WW post today, since I was in bed with a cold and dying. or something a little less dramatic, but still… ugh.
I love it, too. But, you know, Leslie, I also love very modern, simple lines, shiny architecture. Both has their places in my world. But you are right, the way houses are built these days, sorry to say, especially here in the US, is a bit sad, and, yes, it sure is mostly due to costs. I guess if you were to build a house like they used to be built, you would have to pay a fortune, quite literally. Oh well.
I hope you are feeling much, much better by now – for Halloween!!
Lovely shot, amazing like light
Mollyxxx
Thank you, Molly. It was late in the afternoon or early evening and we all know what the best light is for photography, right?!
Nice building, there is a lot of great detail there.
Hi Ida, if I had had my real camera and tele, I would have gotten some of that detail, which in fact is there
