“But he who dares not grasp the thorn
Should never crave the rose.”
― Anne Brontë
From a few weeks back, taken at the Norfolk Botanical Garden. They have such a huge and beautiful rose garden I could not help myself, but snapped away a lot of photos of these pretty blooms. And I found a great rose quote to go along with it, don’t you think? I dare say you will have to endure seeing a few more rose photos in the coming weeks or months of winter.
Have a wonderful weekend, friends!

gorgeous! I won’t complain about looking at beautiful blooms.
not when everyone can probably expect snow photos from me for the next 6 months! LOL
Snow can be nice, I suppose, really, I do – not. No, it can be and I am sure you’ll get lots of great pictures of it, soon.
very lovely!
Thank you!
Perfect quote! And the photo is ever so beautiful too.
I thought so, too, although it would have been really perfect if the photo had shown a thorn, too, but – oh well 🙂
what a lovely image!! I looked at the site for art every day I am going to jump in and start posting too! thank you for the idea.
Thank you, Jessica. AEDM really is a great idea. And though I just cannot do this every day, unless I’d post an Instagram photo, which I do not consider ‘real art’ for the most part, I really enjoy all those beautiful pieces of art in my facebook stream.
